We are soon to enter The Chinese New Year – The year of the Tiger which is one of the luckiest Zodiac signs this year! Chinese New Year used to be a harvest festival and is still celebrated over 15 days. Originally, people prayed to gods for a good harvest which is why Chinese New Year is called the ‘Spring Festival’. Now this tradition is carried forward by deep cleaning and decorating the house as a way to welcome good luck, this is making us very excited for Spring/Summer.
Tiger Characteristics
People born in the Year of the Tiger are born leaders, who walk and talk assertively and inspire respect. They are courageous and energetic, love a challenge or competition and are prepared to take risks. They are hungry for excitement and crave attention. Tiger people can also be sensitive, humorous and capable of great generosity and love. There is never a dull moment with a Tiger. The Tiger is known as the king of all beasts in China and we think so too, plus how cute are these little tigers below? Very! This year it is all about the water tiger who is known for his strong sense of self-esteem and learning ability.
